Are Giving Collection pieces different in quality?+
Not at all — solid 14k or 18k gold or platinum, vetted stones, made to order in two to three weeks, free insured shipping, 30-day returns, and the lifetime warranty all apply. The only difference is where part of the purchase goes.
Why focus on artisanal mining communities?+
A large share of the world's colored gemstones is mined by small-scale, independent miners whose communities rarely share in the final value of the stones. Funding education and healthcare there addresses the industry's most direct human impact.
